Major Ongoing Research Projects

The Research Advisory Committee recommended that the VTC research programme may be carried out under the main project entitled “Isolation, maintenance and characterization of microbial pathogens” with sub-project as:

a.    Isolation, maintenance and characterization of bacterial pathogens and their molecular identification

PI and Co-PI: Rajesh Kumar Vaid, Sanjay Barua, Mamta Tigga, Shanmugasundaram  & B.C. Bera

b.   Isolation, molecular characterization and reposition of viruses of animal origin

PI and Co-PI: R. K. Singh, Sanjay Barua, B.C. Bera, R. K. Vaid, K. Shanmugasundaran and B.R. Gulati
